They are members of the NAHB, USGBC and hold the designations of LEED AP and CGP.

SureGreen will continue the tradition of respect for the environment, attention to detail, quality and timely delivery of efficient, comfortable, value built custom homes.

Chris Frank CGP

Chris Frank adds nearly 30 years as a developer and builder to a century-old Frank family tradition, that included the design and construction supervision of notable landmarks such as Duke University, The Philadelphia Museum of Art and homes for many of the country’s elite. Today, Chris is one of Western Pennsylvania’s premier developers and builders of communities and custom homes.

The nationally recognized Adams Woods, John Quincy Adams Estates and Adams Crossing communities stand as witness to Chris’s environmentally-sensitive development and building philosophy. Chris was one of the first area builders to embrace geothermal and radiant technology, building the first “Good Cents Environmental Home” in the northeastern United States in Adams Woods. His dedication to environmentally-conscious building methods has earned him the recognition of Builder Magazine. He was awarded Fine Homebuilding’s Home of the Year, and is featured in the book “The Story Behind the Success.”

Chris has earned his customers’ trust and works tirelessly to maintain his reputation for over performance in the Western Pennsylvania market.

Tim Shipley CGP

Tim Shipley began his career in real estate in 1980 in the resort industry, where he developed not just his professional expertise, but also a deep appreciation and respect for the environment. From this beginning, Tim co-founded a real estate consulting firm Clarion Consulting that advised Fortune 500 companies in best practices for design, construction and facilities management of their real estate portfolios. The practice was acquired by Ernst & Young Consulting Group where Tim served as National Director of Corporate Real Estate Services.

In 2000, Tim and his family relocated to Western Pennsylvania and began the development of Lake MacLeod, an amenity-based community built to tread lightly on the environment. Tim’s commitment to environmentally-conscious, yet practical, construction is evidenced in the Lake MacLeod Boat House and several custom homes including the WPXI Concept Home at Lake MacLeod. These projects showcase sustainable materials and energy-efficient building techniques and exemplify Tim’s respect for the environment and responsible development and construction technologies.

Tim and his brother Neal are majority owners of SureTight Insulated Panel Corporation, a manufacturer of highly-efficient building systems.

These experiences have formed the guiding principle that efficiencies incorporated in any design must deliver ultra-high performance, comfort, and exceptional cost-of-ownership benefit, without incurring a price premium over traditional materials and methods.
